December 2016 Class Schedule*

Today I would like to post December 2016 class schedule. Thanks for waiting!

Christmas season is coming and I am excited to introduce some Christmas style cakes and cookies to you! “Pistachio x Red berries” is my theme for this year’s Christmas. We will make this combination into Choux wreath and Entremet layer cake. I will also be repeating some popular classes from the past such as Strawberry Short Cake and Raspberry Cheesecake. Of course, gingerbread cookie too. I myself cannot go through Christmas without baking those items!

Here is the class schedule;  *Kindly refer to Class Calendar as well.

1. Choux de Noel ~Earl Grey Tea x Pistachio~ & Tea Snowball Cookie – Basic Class –

How was your long weekend?

Hi, how was your long weekend?

As for me, I had classes on Saturday and Sunday so enjoyed baking with my students (Thanks for coming to my class)! Saturday class was Japanese Souffle Cheesecake and Sunday class was Pistachio Pound Cake. I had some extra cakes from my classes, so enjoyed them with cup of coffee over the weekend! Yum yum…

And today, I went to my favourite cafe BEAM with my family. We had Cafe Latte. Oh… their coffee is still the best for me in KL!

I also ordered this Green Tea Waffle with Vanilla ice and fruits… I might have over eaten… I need to exercise, haha!

I am posting April Class Schedule (and early May) today! Kindly note that I will be starting from 4th week of April. As for the class terms (fee, duration and others), they remain the same as before. All the classes are hands-on workshop style with maximum 6 students/class.

Happy Ramadan Month to all my muslim friends! And thanks for waiting for my July 2015 class schedule!

As I have decided to go back to Japan in late July to early August, we will be having limited classes in July. I received many pound cake class request from students, so I would like to introduce moist Japanese green tea swirl pound cake with white chocolate chip as our new recipe! I will also be repeating pistachio pound cake class and some popular cheesecake classes. So next month will be Pound Cake & Cheesecake month^^!

Mango Rare Cheesecake*

Hi there!

So this is the photo of Mango Cheesecake! As some of you may have noticed, I made change on the topping mango cream part from the previous photo and made it creamier. From bottom; Digestive cookie crust, hazelnuts crumble, rare cheesecake, and mango passion cream!

Oh yes, we have a surprise in this cake! This one, the one that everyone thinks it’s a banana is actually hazelnuts crumble! It’s not as crunchy as the crumble you put on top of the muffins (because of the size and baking time), but goes very well with the cake.

Mango and passion goes very well too and adds freshness to this cake! In the class we will put in fresh mango as well.

This cake goes very well with coffee… and my daughter loved this cake, too…
